The Crossroad
Hi, what I am about to tell you is something I don’t usually discuss to anyone—even with friends. But this is something that you should know; something I was told to do just for you.
Seven years ago, I had this dream; I stopped in the middle of this crossroad—God knows you can picture what kind of road that was—after a very long exhausting walk.
Beyond this crossroad awaits uncertainty, and on this crossroad lies confusion; for where I stand, I see no beauty and feel no peace. Time moves, and I cannot wait forever—for in every crossroad calls for a decision. And for every decision made in a crossroad is a direction—that is somewhere we have not gone before. For that road behind me has been captured by time, and time lays that road solely to our memories.
Never had I been so terrified and confused; never had I been so insecure and impaired.
Yet amidst the confusion was an invitation—an invitation to heed the call of Christ. One step at a time, I followed; unceasingly I walk toward that voice—so loving, so soothing, and so genuine. From whence comes peace, joy, meaning, and fulfilment; and from whence every crossroad, I come across with, has become a multitude of opportunities.
