I enjoy this eclectic collection of blessings from Sabrina Dearborn very much. I like that it’s a multicultural collection of blessings for different situations and times of the year that can bring comfort to a child especially at bedtime.
I must say what I really adore about this book is it’s absolutely beautiful and whimsical illustrations by Olwyn Whelan. It is total eye candy and I’m on a mission to collect all the Olwyn Whelan books I can find.
My daughter and I loved the colorful angels at the end of the book so much we were inspired to spend an evening drawing and painting our own angelic beings to watch over us.
This would be a lovely and special choice for the spiritually open-minded parent or grandparent to give as a gift…especially during the holiday season.

I bought this book because it contained a house blessing and was mesmerized by the beautiful and stunning artwork that complemented the individual blessings. Not only is this book a great compilation of ritual blessings from around the globe but the artwork itself is worthy of framing.
A nice coffee-table book for the new home; an easy-to-read book for youngsters. Nothing disappointing here.

THIS BOOK OF BLESSINGS IS JUST THAT. I HAD NEVER HEARD OF A BLESSING ON HALLOWEEN… BUT NOW I KNOW ONE. THAT IS REALLY A TREAT!! ALL OF THE BLESSINGS ARE WARM. PARENT, AND CHILD, OR ADULT CAN BENEFIT FROM SOME BLESSINGS SOMETIMES. THE ILLUSTRATIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND ONE CAN IDENTIFY WITH PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD .
