Traveling cross Canada I heard a cut from these guys (Home For A Rest) on a station in Winnipeg. It reminded me of the typical Irish drinking song but I sensed a bit more and decided to buy the cd. There is a LOT more, and it’s not just in the melodies. Some very thought provoking and clever lyrics, and excellent ballads here. A cross between Great Big Sea and Carbon Leaf (the latter not being Scottish or Irish but sounding so), Spirit has a few lesser tracks here, but for the most part a very good listen. Not sure why the exotic price tag here at Amazon, can be had in Canada at retail music stores for half or less.
