Scripture for the Day
Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth. He who gathers crops in summer is a wise son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.
Proverbs 10:4,5
This verse has got to do with common sense. Of course, what grace can lazy man receive when he himself turns his back from any blessing. A lazy man is an attitude… a way of shutting God’s blessings into our lives. There is a difference though between being lazy and going for recreation and relaxation. Every one needs to go for a recreation and relaxation. Every one needs to rest so as to boost one’s labor more afterward. But a lazy man is not just going for relaxation or recreation or getting away from work. A lazy attitude is the lock that keeps the door from opening.
Get to work. Enjoy work. Welcome all the blessings in life.
