Is Clairvoyance Easy An Easy Thing To Develop?
The term clairvoyance is a paranormal term which originated in the French language. Clair means clear in French, voyance means vision and voyant is a visionary. And clairvoyance is clear vision and a clairvoyant is an individual is clear visionary. However, the literal meaning is neither truly accurate nor helpful.
To further complicate the definition, clairvoyant has been used in reference to a variety of things over the years. The term clairvoyant applies to an individual who has exhibited abilities in a range of psychic or paranormal talents and has emerged gradually over the years. An all-encompassing meaning which truly fits is that someone using clairvoyance powers, is an individual who has the ability to know places, people, events and objects by other means other than the five physical senses and refers to a form of extra-sensory perception (ESP).
Usually clairvoyance involves an individual who has the knowledge of a situation that happens at the moment, but at a distance, out of the range of that individuals physical senses. Cases of individuals (clairvoyants) have been documented with these individuals knowing of situations that have happened in the past or in the future. Some consider clairvoyance to be a form of prophecy or of precognition.
The means through which a clairvoyant learns hidden information varies, but generally breaks down into one of six categories. Clairvoyance is perhaps most associated with the first form, the phenomenon of ‘remote viewing.’ In remote viewing, a clairvoyant sees a person, object, location, or event hidden from them. This sometimes takes the form of a visual hallucination, and other times as the clairvoyant ‘seeing’ something in their ‘mind’s eye.’
The second type is call clairaudience. In this particular for a clairvoyant receives their information by remote event by sound. The individual may hear noises or voices that other people or recording equipment cannot. The clairvoyant may sometimes hear the voices of the dead and in this case that phenomenon may cross the line and be the form of a medium.
The third type of clairvoyance is clairsentience. In clairsentience, the person gains knowledge though touch and feeling. In some cases this may take the form of feeling actual object that are not there. In other cases, it is more a feeling or ‘vibe’ that the clairvoyant feels from particular remote people, locations, or events.
Clairalience is the fourth type or form. This form, clairalience, involves the sense of smell of the clairvoyant. The knowledge, for example, of the individual (clairvoyant) is gained through the smell of flowers and grass of a meadow, the ordor of blood and gunpowder. An it is unlikely anyone else near them can detect these smells and there is no source for these various scents.
Clairgustance is the fifth form or type of clairvoyance. In this form an individual can taste the different flavors, despite the fact there is no apparent sauce and since they have not eaten anything. They are able to describe the flavor that they are tasting even though they are a distance from any source.
The final and sixth sense of clairvoyance is the form of Claircognizance and it is also the most difficult to explain and define. An individuals ability with this form is to have the knowledge of a person, place, object or event at a distance, but they cannot explain how they have this knowledge. They just do. The catch-all category of clairvoyance is, to some extent, considered to be Claircognizance.
There have been many documented occurrences of people who are clairvoyant throughout history from different cultures around the globe. Instances of clairvoyance have also been incorporated into some of the world’s most widespread religions.
In Buddhism, for instance is it believed that clairvoyance is capable for humans to achieve in an advanced level of meditation. It is referenced to the ability to feel vibrations projected by others.
Clairvoyance in Catholicism has been consider a miraculous ability. A disciple of Saint Francis, Saint Claire, had a vision over five hundred years ago. In this vision she witnessed the death of Saint Francis while she was miles away at the time. She was made the Saint of television. The literal meaning of television is seeing over a distance.
There are many skeptics, of course, about the existence of clairvoyance. But it is part of human nature for individuals to deny the existence of something because they do not understand it. Not too far back in our resent history the scientist denied there was such a thing as electricity and magnetism.
Whatever is said by skeptics say, no one has as yet disproved clairvoyance and the evidence is increasing that many genuine clairvoyants exist around the world. Generally parapsychologists, scientists and the public have become more open minded and are accepting clairvoyance is real.
We do not understand how clairvoyance works, but this is no reason to deny its existence. It has been noted that humans in their distant past have all had the ability to use clairvoyance, but for some reason have lost that power. Thoughts are that everyone could become a clairvoyant again. If the effort is made and if they choose to develop their ability.
