Spirituality as I often mentioned is your response to reality. Your response to the situation your are in. Your response to the needs of your children as a mother or father. Your response to the reality of earning a livelihood for the family in this very challenging, exciting, yet miraculous world.

In this sense, we really need spiritual talks, spiritual guides, spiritual mentors, and spiritual book. They do not have to be religious gurus, writings, and explanations.

It just so happened that one of the most spiritual books throughout the time is the Bible, which is also a religious book. The bible has full of wisdom. And if really read it intently between the lines, it guides us to our responses to reality.

Trying to get some reviews of the product, but never did get what i want to know. Perhaps the only way is to try one before buying. Where? I am thinking of some relatives who could have bought already.

Another thing I want to know is the price in Amazon compared to the prices here in Philippines.

If the former is  much cheaper, I might buy from Amazon and have it shipped to my good cousin in the states – that knowing my parents would bring them back here after tour/vacation.

But here is a good point I gathered that may somehow enlighten everyone in terms of inter-faith dialogue and sharing, which is the thrust of many religions at present. Spirituality is something that has to be shared and nurtured so as to enliven every individual of God’s love and bountiful blessings.

When naming and blessing Children, under the direction of the presiding authority, those brethren, who hold the Melchizedek Priesthood, may participate in the ordinance of naming and blessing children. When blessing a baby, the brethren gather in a circle and place their hands under the baby. When blessing an older child, brethren place their hands on the child’s head. The person who gives the blessing does the following:

  • Addresses the Heavenly Father.
  • States that the ordinance is performed by the authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood.
  • Gives the child a name.
  • Adds words of blessing as the Spirit directs.
  • Closes in the name of Jesus Christ.

Indeed blessing a baby is very sacred looking at many religions. Blessing is one thing many people missed out sharing in this current times, blessing is one thing many people missed out asking to receive in this present times. Blessing is one thing all of us need.

Blessing is something we can receive NOT because we deserve it; it is because it is given out of LOVE as blessing should come out from the heart. So whenever you receive a blessing in life, always remember that it is not because you are skillful and wise that you receive them. It is not a reward for your deeds. Blessings are freely given and we are all potential recipients to them (blessings).
